Is it possible to make reservation by phone or e-mail?

We do not accept reservations on both phone and email.

Can I pay by credit card?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, American Express and Diners Club cards.

How many days prior does the cancellation fee apply?
A
Cancellation charges will apply from 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

The cancellation policy is as follows:
・No-show or same-day cancellation: 100% of the room rate
・1–3 days prior to arrival: 30% of the room rate
・4 days or more prior to arrival: No charge
※ Cancellation policies may vary depending on the booking channel and accommodation plan. Please refer to the details of your selected plan for more information.
※ Reservations for 10 or more guests are subject to a separate group cancellation policy.

What are the additional charges for late check-out?
A
The following additional charges apply per room:
Up to 2 hours after the standard check-out time: ¥20,000
Up to 4 hours after the standard check-out time: ¥40,000
More than 4 hours after the standard check-out time: the full room rate for that day

Please note that late check-out requests are subject to availability and may not be accommodated depending on our reservation status. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you have a parking lot?
A
We offer on-site parking for our guests. As parking spaces are limited, please let us know if you require parking when making your reservation.

How long will it take to walk to the station?

An 8-minute walk from Karasuma-Oike Station on the Kyoto Subway Karasuma Line and Tozai Line

Do you offer a shuttle service?
A
We regret that we do not provide a shuttle service from the station.
Our hotel is located approximately a 6-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station and about 15 minutes by taxi from Kyoto Station.
If you are traveling with large luggage, we recommend taking a taxi from Kyoto Station for your convenience.

How many can stay in the room
A
Up to three guests can stay in one room. However, accommodation for three guests is available only in our Deluxe Balcony Room.
For the third guest, a sofa bed will be prepared in the room.

Do you have smoking and non-smoking rooms?
A
Unfortunately, our hotel prohibits smoking in all guest rooms. Though we do have a Smoking booth on the 1st floor.

Is there a curfew?
A
No, there is no curfew.
However, for security reasons, the main entrance is locked between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. Registered guests may access the hotel at any time using their room key.

Do you have a gym or swimming pool?
A
We regret that our hotel does not have a gym or swimming pool.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all guest rooms.

We regret that connecting rooms are not available.
However, depending on availability, we may be able to arrange rooms close to one another. Please feel free to contact us with your request.

Do you have rooms with a view?
A
MOGANA is located in a quiet residential area in central Kyoto. As such, the hotel does not offer rooms with expansive city or scenic views.
Instead, guests can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the bustle of the city.

Do you offer room service?

We offer a selection of late-night meals, including Ochazuke with medicinal herb broth, seasonal beauty-enhancing herbal soba, a room drinking set, and a medicinal herb eel soup bowl.

Do you serve dinner?

We do not have a restaurant in the hotel so the answer will be no.
We can suggest some restaurant which is located near the hotel. Please feel free to ask.

Can you tell me about the allergy information for breakfast?
A
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate guests with food allergies and to minimize the presence of allergens in our dishes. However, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens, as all meals are prepared in a shared kitchen environment. We appreciate your understanding.
For the safety of our guests, we may be unable to accommodate requests from those with severe or life-threatening allergies.
Please also note that we are unable to provide halal-certified meals or accommodate halal dietary requirements.

We provide MOGANA original loungewear for our guests. It may be worn both in your guest room and in the hotel's public areas.
